About Claude Capybara Pro

Who We Are

Claude Capybara Pro is an independent research and analysis platform focused on the Capybara tier — Anthropic’s newest and most powerful level of AI models, sitting above the existing Opus tier in the hierarchy: Haiku, Sonnet, Opus, and Capybara.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. Our work is entirely independent. We launched this site because the Capybara tier represents a genuine inflection point in AI capabilities, and developers, researchers, business leaders, and security professionals need a single reliable resource to make sense of it all.

Our team brings together AI researchers, technology journalists, and cybersecurity analysts who have tracked Anthropic’s progress since the company’s founding. When internal documents about the Capybara tier surfaced through the March 2026 data leak, we recognized the significance immediately and began building the most comprehensive independent resource on the topic.

Our Mission

In-Depth Technical Analysis

Every article goes through a rigorous research pipeline. We analyze search engine results, cross-reference multiple primary sources, extract key entities and relationships, and verify factual claims before publishing. We investigate rather than summarize press releases.

Benchmark Transparency

AI benchmarks only tell a story if you understand the context. We track performance across Terminal-Bench 2.0, SWE-bench Verified, ARC-AGI-2, GPQA Diamond, AIME 2025, GDPval-AA, and other industry-standard evaluations — explaining not just scores but what they mean for real-world use cases.

Balanced Coverage of Risks and Opportunities

The Capybara tier introduces ASL-4 safety protocols and raises critical questions about dual-use capabilities, particularly in cybersecurity. We cover both the promise and the risks with equal depth, because responsible adoption depends on understanding both sides.

What We Cover

Our coverage spans eight research clusters:

Core Information

What the Capybara tier is, how it fits into Anthropic’s model hierarchy, and what distinguishes it architecturally from Opus and earlier tiers.

Capabilities and Benchmarks

Deep analysis of benchmark performance across coding, reasoning, mathematics, and general intelligence evaluations. How Capybara-tier models compare to the current state of the art.

Cybersecurity

The dual-use implications of advanced AI in cybersecurity — from the Chinese espionage campaign that used Claude Code to Accenture’s Cyber.AI defensive platform. Stock market reactions, industry disruption, and policy responses.

Access, Pricing, and API

Release timeline tracking, API integration guidance, pricing estimates, and rollout strategy. We monitor prediction markets, official channels, and insider reports.

Model Comparisons

Side-by-side analysis against GPT-5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, previous Claude models, and other frontier AI systems — using real benchmark data.

Safety and Ethics

ASL-4 protocols, responsible scaling policies, the debate around AI danger, and what Capybara-tier capabilities mean for governance frameworks.

The Leak Story

The full account of how approximately 3,000 files from Anthropic’s CMS became publicly accessible, who discovered them, and what was revealed.

Developer Resources

Practical guides for preparing to work with Capybara-tier models — coding benchmarks, agent workflow patterns, and API integration strategies.

Our Research Methodology

SERP Analysis

We analyze the top 5-7 ranking pages for each topic to understand existing coverage and identify gaps worth filling.

Primary Source Collection

We read full competitor articles, extracting named entities, factual claims, and relationship triplets from each source.

Entity Extraction

We identify key people, organizations, technologies, benchmarks, and dates across sources, building a knowledge graph for each topic.

Structured Outlining

Based on entities, People Also Ask questions, and sub-intents, we create structured outlines ensuring comprehensive coverage.

Fact Verification

Specific claims are cross-referenced against primary sources. We note when information is unconfirmed or based on leaked materials.

By the Numbers

  • 20 in-depth articles across 8 research clusters
  • 8,000–15,000 characters per article
  • Industry-standard benchmarks tracked and contextualized
  • Internal linking across all articles for comprehensive navigation

Editorial Independence

Claude Capybara Pro has no relationship with Anthropic, its employees, investors, or partners. We receive no funding, early access, or preferential treatment from any AI company.

Our analysis is based entirely on publicly available information: benchmark leaderboards, official blog posts, leaked documents that entered the public domain, court filings, financial data, and peer-reviewed research.

When we cite leaked materials, we note their provenance. When claims are unverified, we say so. We correct errors within 24 hours of discovery.
